Wow, what a difference a day makes! Yesterday’s non-stop rain gave way to a beautiful sunny day! We tackled three different hikes today, each one was fantastic! There are so many photos to share that I feel it would be better to split Day 9’s post into two. The first hike we did today was the Stout Memorial Grove.

This was a loop trial; the path takes you in a circle ending where you began. I would categorize this as an easy trail suitable for all fitness levels. The path was wide, mostly level and gave you great views of the towering Redwood Trees!

There is a spur trail that we took which crosses the Mill Creek and ends at the Smith River. It was a bit more challenging but very much worth the effort to go all the way down to the river.

Now it was on to our next trail, the Grove of Titans!

The trees here are enormous!

This trail had come of the coolest formations!

These were fantastic trails, now on to the next one!
