After the mini concert by the W-Brothers Band, my hubby’s brother’s family went to the Ogemaw County Fair. We stayed behind and had dinner out with our friends from Missouri.
We chose a quirky sounding place called the Frog Tiki Bar (https://www.springbrookinn.com/tikibar.shtml). It was trivia night when we arrived, and though we were not officially playing we did pretty well answering the questions amongst ourselves. The food was your typical bar quality food, but the atmosphere was really fun and is what draws you in, makes you want to stay and return.
The outdoor patio is divided into two areas; one that is near the bar and has a more enclosed feeling the other in an airy covered patio next to a large pond.
After dinner, we couldn’t resist having a little fun on our way out…
We finished our evening relaxing on the deck of our friend’s rental home on the lake.
I love sunrises & sunsets just about anywhere; but there’s something extra special when they occur over the water…as these photos that my friend took during her stay prove.
