It’s been a long time since my last post…5 years long! My last few posts were from when I started the journey of becoming my mother’s live-in caregiver as she battled Lewy-Body Dementia. She finished that battle almost a year ago on September 22, 2024. It has taken many months to finalize her estate and reacclimate myself to living without her. I will share more of that caregiving journey from time to time…but for now there is a new journey beginning which I am excitedly wanting to capture in my blogging. The journey of Retirement!!
On August 29th my husband officially retired! We find ourselves at a crossroads with many possibilities. We have had lots of brainstorming talks of where to go, what to do, where to live etc., I can’t wait to see what the future holds and to capture it here as a way to commemorate the journey!
I can see the road is bending…wonder what’s around the bend? Come along & let’s see!
